Letter From Chairman

Doug Church chairman of Central Fairfax Chamber of CommerceThe Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce is a local, community- based organization solely focused on helping member businesses of all sizes succeed. I urge you to join us, if you have not already. Share our message with your friends and business associates of how chamber membership can help, not only your business, but our community as a whole. There is strength in numbers and we need that strength to assure that the needs and voices of businesses, large and small, are heard.

Why Join the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce?

A strong and active local business community is good for everyone. The Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce is located in the City of Fairfax, in the heart of Fairfax County, along with George Mason University and other vibrant business communities like Fairfax Corner, Fair Oaks, and Fair Lakes. For more than 60 years, the Central Fairfax Chamber has served local businesses. The Chamber offers a wide range of services including networking opportunities, business to business marketing and client introduction, education and legislative advocacy. The Chamber’s Board of Directors is comprised of not only local business leaders, but representatives of the Fairfax County Supervisors, Fairfax County and City of Fairfax Economic Development Authorities, and The City of Fairfax, thus providing a unique forum for addressing the concerns of local and emerging businesses.

Why Now?

There is a genuine excitement in the air in the City of Fairfax and our surrounding communities. There is a collaborative sense of partnership to continue the efforts to make our community an even greater place to live and do business. This atmosphere, in addition to all of the exciting opportunities in Fairfax County and Northern Virginia, makes now a great time to get involved with the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. Local businesses can recognize real advantages in working with other professionals and potential clients. Also, business activities such as marketing and education can be leveraged and improved by combining our resources through the Chamber. The Central Fairfax Chamber offers an incredible and expanding array of services and specialized opportunities for participation. The Chamber’s efforts are focused on helping businesses grow and prosper. These opportunities include the wide range of education and business development through our exceptional partnership with the Mason Enterprise Center.

I look forward to having you join us as a member AND partner in, not only YOUR success, but the success of OUR communities. Please join in getting the message out and help our Chamber continue to grow and better support and serve all our members and the community!

Thanks and all the best,
Doug Church, Chairman
